The project, called BIOREACT, focuses on the recycling of polymeric starch-based waste, such as bags or padding used in agriculture. The participating partners are PICDA, AIMPLAS, UNIVERSIDAD DE VALENCIA and VIROMII. The objective is to recover said waste and transform it into lactic acid, which can be used to produce polylactic acid (PLA), a highly demanded bioplastic.<\/p>\n
